Cookie Policy

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — such as whether you have accepted the age gate or chosen your cookie preferences. Similar technologies, including browser local storage and session storage, work in a comparable way and are covered by this policy.

Cookies are not programs and cannot run code on their own. They are simply records of information stored in your browser.

Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep Paparazzi Bot running correctly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our games in aggregate. Without strictly necessary cookies the site will not function. All other cookies are optional and set only with your consent.

Categories of Cookies We Use

Lawful Basis (UK GDPR + PECR)

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), strictly necessary cookies may be set on the basis of legitimate interest — they are essential to deliver the service you have requested and no consent is needed. All other cookie categories require your opt-in consent before they are set. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the method described below, and doing so will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

How to Manage Your Cookies on Paparazzi Bot

When you first visit the site, a banner gives you the option to "Accept all" cookies or select "Essential only". Your choice is stored in localStorage.__cc_v1. To change your preference at any time, clear that key using your browser's developer tools (Application → Local Storage → paparazzibot.com → delete __cc_v1) and then reload the page — the banner will reappear.

How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings. Select your browser below for instructions:

Third-Party Cookies and Services

When you consent, the following third-party cookies may be set:

  • Cloudflare — provides CDN, security, and anonymous web analytics. Cloudflare may set __cf_bm for bot management. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google — if you arrive via a Google Ads campaign, Google may set measurement cookies to attribute your visit to the relevant ad. Google Cookie Policy.
  • Microsoft Advertising — if you arrive via a Microsoft Advertising campaign, Microsoft may set measurement cookies. Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal indicating that you do not wish to be tracked, we treat this as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and advertising cookies. We do not currently respond to the older Do Not Track (DNT) header, as it has no standardised implementation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
